Hello fucker! Yes, I'm a lucky fucker, these kidlets are fucking badass, well mannered little humans.
There is a hole I'm in, Scheify, but it is not a musicless hole. I'm doing a LOT of custom shit for that movie. I am no longer scoring it, but credits, opening closing, bar scenes, club scenes...every piece of non cinematic music is mostly me. I am currently working on an UUUUUBEr acoustic piece. (I know right)...it's pretty sick, I think.

Also some cinematic stuff too. But yeah, I've been dying to release some stuff on newgrounds, but I'm locked in a contract...haha. So I'll have to write something specific for here.

hell yes! nothing makes me happier than when people say 'fuck it!' and record their own vocals, even if they don't feel comfortable with it. that takes a lot of balls, and you deserve recognition for it!

that being said, this is really solid for a mere second attempt. heavy and sinister, and you keep a good rhythm throughout the song. the delivery of the really powerful passages get a bit frail. make sure you don't put too much strain on your throat. the real power comes from your stomach.

the clean parts around 1:21 is where things get a bit tricky. you've got a good voice, and i really like how you deliver the vocals. they do sound pretty solid, however, they are out of tune, making it sound a lot worse than it is. it's ungrateful being a vocalist, eh? haha. but fret not, as this is really tricky for anyone, and requires a lot of practice. i'm really glad you gave it a shot!

for a second attempt, i'm guessing first on cleans, i'm really impressed. keep working on it, and you've got a killer voice, brother! hit me up, if you if you need some advice or help with anything!

Awesome man, I like the in-depth review. You're right, the clean section is awful, haha. I really need to find a melody that's in tune. I don't know what made me think that sounded any good.. but I do think my growl has potential. That one is from the gut, haha. Just need to figure out how to get it lower.
