not sure how i stumbled upon this, but i'm glad i did. not what i usually listen to, but i still thought i'd give my input. great composition. a bit quiet, but on the other hand that's a nice contrast to all the overly compressed stuff around here. really enjoyed it, glad i did some random browsing haha

TheBellmaker responds:

Seeing a nice review always makes my day :)

I do agree, the composition is extremely quiet for most songs on NG, and this is because Edirol has a really low base volume that I don't feel like boosting because it causes mild distortion.

Thanks for the review!

excellent work. i agree with most of what PIED3 stated, exept i really do like the whole composition. sure, a couple of sections are a bit generic, but i really don't mind that, as long as you deliver. and you sure as hell do. awesome work in all fields. liking this shit a lot, thanks for sharing!

as a big fan of bad man's vocals, i'm really glad to see them come to good use. well written stuff for sure, and surprisingly heavy to be honest. which is a good thing in my book. excellent quality, i'm loving it. keep up the good work!

this is some kickass stuff, loving the riffage. got some really interesting shit going on. aggressive and in your face, but without being all too brutal. a cool balance. personally, i'd love to hear some vocals for this one. great job nonetheless, keep rocking \m/

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

This is the highest BPM metal song I've ever done at a brisk 160 BPM, so that could very well add to the "kickass factor". Usually I write metal more around the 100-120 range, figured I'll never get better if I don't try faster stuff for a change.

As for vocals, I can't make any promises, I haven't written anything for this, and I don't know if I ever will.

In any case, glad you like it, thanks for the review!

not bad, i like the main section, it's got a pretty nice feel to it. as you said, it sounds very digital, but the composition itself is solid. the mix is pretty dull, could use some eq work. still, not bad! keep it up

not bad, but definitely not the best i've heard from you. but as you said, it's pretty old. riffs are pretty cool. messy, but in a good way haha.

while there's a lot of stuff going in, it gets a bit repetitive. a few more distinctive leads would make wonders for this bad boy. mixing is alright, but i'd crank up the drums a bit.

not bad, i enjoyed it. good job!

Ryan-of-the-Metal responds:

Thanks, this was back when I didn't really have a clear goal to achieve with my music, I really dind't know what I wanted, but I think I understand more now. I could be the way my program functions, I dunno, I'll work on the repetitive nature of my songs.

thinking-man responds:

Yes it does.
